Susie Low, CEO of the Warlpiri Youth Development Aboriginal Corporation asked us to design their Annual Report for 2014-2015 adding our unique Indigenous design beauty to the structure of the document using compelling Warlpiri images and artwork.
The concept was to come up with a design that would not only look great in the corporate offices of their supporters in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra but would be well received by Walpiri community, in particular the youth benefiting from the program and to showcase the great work of the WYDAC.
We started off with a beautiful image library from WYDAC and transverse some of the unique images of the Central desert into page layouts. We took it on ourselves to develop a overarching layout and brand style guide which was to be used for this publication but that would also carry through a unique brand style for future WYDAC publications.
The result of our design work was a unique mix of corporate and community that included representative artwork and imagery that fit uniquely within the scope and for what WYDAC has became known for.
The publication was well received by WYDAC and the Walpiri Community and WYDAC was extremely impressed by the pro-bono style guide that we developed for WYDAC, so that they now ensure that their brand stand up in a crowded marketplace.
If your organisation or business is looking for the same treatment contact us for a quotation on your next publication work, we'd love enhance your style and make you stand out from the crowd.
